INSIDE OUT PROJECT:
Physics/Engineering
Light Box- In Physics and Engineering, we were assigned a project called "Inside Out". I was told to create a box that represented me on the inside and out. The inside of my box had to have at least 2 mirrors reflecting images that I chose to put in my box. I chose to use 3 mirrors for a honors option. After everything on my box was perfectly assembled, I had to put in lights to shine on my image. When I was done with the building of my box, my teacher instructed me to present on the design process of my box.

English 9/ Communications:
In English we were assigned an assignment dealing with our Inside Out project. I was instructed to write about
a watermark in my life. A watermark is a point and time in your life that has immensely impacted you. I chose to
write about my first day of high school. My English teacher insisted that my watermarks should be 2 full pages or longer.

TEDx PROJECT:
Physics/Engineering:
In Physics and Engineering, we were put in groups of four and we had to pick a type of force to talk about. My group chose to talk about Tension. We had to brainstorm ideas on experiments dealing with Tension. My group decided to connect spring scales, tools that measures the force of tension, to the ends of ropes. At the TEDx event, we had volunteers pull the rope and explain to them how it displayed tension.
English 9/ Communications:
In English, we had to right a TED Talk, which is a talk, that changes someone's state of mind on a certain thing. My TED Talk is about African-American women stereotypes. Everyone in my 9th grade class had to present their talk in front of the class. After we presented, we had to vote for the top 7 talks. I was voted first out of my class. Those who got voted for, had to present at a big event called TEDx, in front of everyone who wanted to come, including the entire school.

Computer Science:
In Computer Science, we were told to research and make graphs to show our statistics. I chose to conduct a survey and use my own statistics. We were also told to use a method from the book, How To Lie With Statistics. I used the small group method, with exaggerates survey results. After we got our research we had to make a slideshow and present our statistics and method to the class.
